BREEZY LOOKS FOR YOUR SUMMER OCCASIONS

In the hot summer months there seems to be event after event outside which require "cool" pretty sophisticated looks. Summer weddings, BBQs, fundraisers, dinner parties, etc...I love to look my best at these events but for sure don't want to be melting in the heat! So that means it is time for me to find some key looks that are stylish yet will keep me cool outside in the sizzling summer heat!

So as soon as I saw this dress I knew I could wear it ALL SUMMER LONG. This floral maxi is perfect for a garden wedding, a family BBQ, a date night with my honey, or just a girls shopping/lunch day. It is so versatile that it can be worn with sandals and a cute jean jacket for a more dressed down look. Or, like I have styled it here, a bit more dressed up-perfect for any dressy summer affair!

I love the length of this maxi because it isn't TOO long, which allows me to wear flats with it. Also, the price of this dress, being under $130, makes it really affordable although very well made. It is completely lined so isn't see-through, which is a huge selling point for me.

I am wearing a size 4 in this dress so I feel it fits true to size. I also love it's floral design throughout, along with the pretty ruffles on the bodice. The slits on the side of the dress give it that flowy feel, making it flirtatious and fun!

This next look is perfect for summer too! I love a white eyelet top with a chambray skirt in the hotter months-such a cool crisp look. This eyelet top has the prettiest detailing and I just love the sleeves! The skirt's ruffled hem is darling, giving it that extra something special.

This chambray skirt is versitale as well. You can dress up for a baby shower or even work. On the weekends it could paired with a tank and sandals for an outing with the kids, a BBQ, or to Church. This skirt would be perfect with a red top for a patriotic look for the Fourth of July! If you were going to a July 4th event that was semi-dressy just throw on a pair of tan wedges, big red statement earrings and you are all set!

The sizing of this skirt runs a bit big. I would size down one size. Both of these pieces are affordable, coming in under $80 each. I am swooning over these stylish breezy summer looks!
