FALLING FOR PLAID

When I think of fall style I instantly think of plaid tops and booties! I look forward to fall for this exact reason. The cooler temps not only make me crave pumpkin spice lattes but cozying up by a fire in a soft plaid top. Plaid is one of fall's most festive versatile prints.

This season you will see plaid in more feminine colors than ever before. Like this blush plaid top I am wearing here. Nothing beats a soft flannel top and jeans. This top is the softest plaid top I own and it does come in a few colors. It runs true to size and is the perfect length. (not too long)

PLAID TOPS

For date night, dress up your plaid a bit with cool booties, a classic bag and statement belt. I love to wear a plaid top and jeans to an intimate date night. You feel like you have your PJs on which is perfect for a comfortable movie night!

These sophisticated high-rise skinny jeans are my go-to pair. They dress up any top. I love how flattering they are with a touch of comfortable stretch. They fit true to size. I am wearing a 27. They are my absolute FAVORITE black denim pair right now!

Plaid will forever be a staple in my closet. It is so versatile, dress is down with shorts and sneakers or dress it up as I have here. I also love to use a plaid top as a layering piece. For example, you can wear this top open as a jacket or tie it around your waist as an accent piece. One easy way you can try this look-just wear a black tank, jean shorts, and slip-on sneakers with the plaid top tied around your waist and BAM you're instantly cute!

I get questions every day about my Gucci belt. I have it in two colors. I have it in this blush nude color (rose) and black. I wear a size 85 which is equivalent to a 27 jean size. I can wear it with high-rise jeans as well as mid-rise. I seem to wear the tan color so much more than the black. It literally goes with everything. This belt would make the perfect holiday gift.

Pretty much obsessed with these steel-toe booties- I love their western appeal. Their side cut-out makes them so unique and fun. The cowboy-inspired bootie trend is going strong and I'm not complaining. They have a very comfortable stacked heel. I will link all my favorite fall booties below.
